The Jupiter Hotel is centrally located, so the whole city (and beyond) is your playground. Below are some classics of the city and favorites of ours!
If you're looking for more off- the-beaten-path activities, there are recommendations on Ian's website, www.ianrosado.com or www.pdx-events.com
If the International Rose Test Garden is in bloom, stopping by is a must!
A beautiful drive with plentiful hikes and views!
Tam's favorite park to run around. It's a little less than a mile loop so it's easy to manage your distance. It's also where all the header pictures for this website were taken!
You can truly get lost in this book store if that's your thing.
Lots of local shops and thrifting. You can route to the Bagdad Theater and walk along both sides and not be disappointed!
Lots of options here too but less local and thrifty than Hawthorne. More upscale but not too uppity. You still won't be disappointed.
The Best US Hotel Bar according to the 17th annual Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards... and it's right at The Jupiter NEXT!
The only place that Tam finished not only 1... but 2 punch cards! Get a 12 oz. iced oat milk latte with vanilla.
The best breakfast sandwich in town. Their veggie sausage is out of this world (better than the meat and we're meat eaters). Very popular for to-go orders! Their iced oat lavender latte is also very good.
Some say this is the best soft serve they've ever had! Others just like the mini chocolate cowboy hat.
The Turmeric Noodle Soup that is served on Sundays is the best soup that money can buy (according to Tam). Call the morning of (they open at 8:30am) to reserve your soup and seat because they sell out quickly!
